I did it!!!!

Last night while enjoying some Hot Tea and my pretty Christmas tree, and a few candles flickering all while cozy on the couch with Tim, just relaxing looking at facebook, and watching some t.v. a good relaxing night all in all. He asked..."So are ya gonna wait another year to blog?, did anyone comment?" I assured him that I had comments, and that I would post again.

But...This morning I had no clue what I wanted to post about...but then as I was talking to my dad...about a very special request...and asking him to do me a HUGE favor!

I called my Daddy...to ask him if he could run a VERY VERY VERY important errand for me! I asked him every so sweetly if he could go to Well's Fargo for me. why you ask? Well I don't have those here in Cincinnati. I asked him to go and write a check for me! Because...that check will be the end of my first student loan!!!! It's all done...still got a few to go but my first one is done!!! Thats right folks I'm one more step closer to being debt free!! I can't wait...

If your wondering what i did with my weekend, it was fairly relaxing...nothing to crazy! Friday night i did a little shopping, and then went to Tim's and we hung out and ate pizza and watched a movie, Saturday I worked on 2 assignments to complete my class for my Bachelors program (I am no officially on winter break). Tim went and watched the University of Cincinnati play Pittsburg it was a BIG game and they won 45-44, making them undefeated this season. Unfortunetly Alabama lost to Texas, so we won't be seeing them in the National Championship but they are going to the Sugarbowl...and yes please be impressed with my football knowledge!!! Tim and I went to church and then grabbed a quick bite to eat before meeting up with some friends for a couple of drinks and watching the alabama/texas game.

Sunday, was busy...but not really, I drove Tim and his friends downtown to tailgate for the Bengals game, Bengals won. And I spent a couple hours relaxing, making a grocery list and such, then went and did some Christmas shopping before picking the boys up. Dropped Tim off and went to do some more shopping, stopped at the grocery store...had to get a few things for dinner.Tim came over and we had Chicago style Italian beef (super easy, threw it in the crockpot earlier in the day) and some yummy onion dip.

To entertain ourselves and aide in the Christmas spirit we spent about an hour driving around looking at Christmas lights, not to mention some pretty cool houses, before landing back at home. And well that was my weekend, sorry for lack of pictures :( I'll try and be better next time!)

Can you believe it I'm Back... After not blogging for well lets see here almost an entire year I know shocking!

This picture above you may seem is concerning well you see it's my you know i'm crazy and thats why i've been missing! No but in all reality...my boyfriend...yea i have one of those now... put me in it...it's the original snuggy when i was at his condo and it was FREEZING! This will warm you right up! It cracked me up! But i have to admit i kind of liked how warm it made me!!!!

So rather than try and catch you up, or just give you this weeks update...I'll do a little recap of the ENTIRE YEAR... bear with me...most of you already know everything...but I've made it exciting you see i've included pictures...so we'll keep it short...like the highlights of each month!

So We'll start in January...I turned 23! This is me and all of my girls in Cincinnati I met these girl in nursing school and lets just say cincinnati would not be the same with out them!!! The have truely been a great blessing!

In febuary i really didn't take any pictures...sorry... i guess nothing exciting really happened...just a blah month i guess...

In march I hosted my first bridal shower....for my dearest friend Jessica Crockett...now Jessica Richey

I did all the cooking and planning...it was so much fun!!! I def got the hostest bug from my mama...here is some of the food spread... we had an egg caserole, scones with lemon curd, and devonshire cream, fresh fruit, carmalized french toast, grape salad, there was also not pictured, is the mimosas, fruit salsa with cinamon chips, and brandy and brie cheese. There were about 20 women at the gathering...oh and i just remembered this was not my first...I threw a Personal shower for my Bestest friend Brianna...two totally different looks! Both a blast...def learning with each party i throw!!! It's so fun...I look forward to hosting many more gatherings...as the year goes on...my apartment starts to feel more like a home, and i hope to one day start a dinner club...sorry for the randomness of this little blurb!!!

In March and april Jessica and I def enjoyed as much time together as possible, she was my roommate and had to get as much time together before she went off and got married and moved almost an hour away!!!! She still makes it back to the "city" frequently and we can always do some damage to our wallets and waist lines together

In April I also helped throw her bachelorette party. 7 of us traveled via Megabus to chicago for a fun filled weekend of shopping, laughing, eating, and dancing!!! We had a BLAST! Here we are with some Italian boys that saw us on the street and just had to have a picture with us!!!

In April (not sure why this is blue or underlined i tried to fix it it doesn't work ;( ) but I also went to the chicago area for PreEaster weekend with the fam...here are all the cousins and second cousins...what have you were just cousins! We have so much fun together (not pictured ben,sam, and becca...hope you guys can make it this year!!) but I had a blast i got to drive half way with my cousin Ashley she is 9 days older than me and it has been so fun getting to know her the past couple of years!

In May i got to go home for a visit...my best friend Brianna had her first baby and well aunt cara just couldn't stay away... it was an awesome time to visit i got to catch up with tons of old friends and by old i mean from before i moved to Cincinnati!

And below with my roommate from freshmen year, one of thos people i know i'll always be able to live with and call she is just an amazing women. She is currently teaching in Mexico this is her 3rd year their and she was home visiting her brother and sister-in-law and family! I miss her dearly and pray one day she will live in the same city as me...and we can be roommates again...we def had some fun times together!

I took my baby sister to get her nose pierced while i was home as well...much to our daddy's dismay...can't help it that my baby sister wants to be like her older cooler sister!!! It looks super cute on her...hey if ya got the sas do it!!!

Here I am with sweet precious Audrey JoAnne thats the outfit (1 of) that i bought for her!! I just can't help myself i'm one proud Aunt!!! I got to see lots of her while i was home! My friend is a wonderful mommy and just well is so in love with her little girl it's fun to watch...and very weird... but I LOVE IT!!! I'm still working on getting both of them to Cincinnati for a Visit!!!! come on brie you can do it!!!! I say Vacation 2010!!!

Here we are the Rehearsal dinner... it was at a Vineyard...which we now love...their wine is AMAZING!!! WE LOVE IT!!! and well their food ain't half bad either!!!!

below at the wedding... i was honored to be able to do a reading at the wedding... were a little sweaty we danced like no body was watching that night... my favorite quote from that night was "Cara!... I just wanna dance... I don't wanna talk to anyone...I just wanna dance!!!" Jessica Richey...i told her to go DANCE then!!! It was soooo fun!

The weekend after Jessicas wedding I was out with a friend from work and bumped into this guy...we talked for all of 2 minutes...and i made him work to get my phone number...I told him he couldn't have it unless he promised to call...well he didn't call...can you believe it...he's phone died and he had no charger...he got a hold of me on monday...and i had already put him out of my mind...well lucky for him...and me i guess i gave him a chance, we went out the following saturday with a couple of his friends, and then on sunday had our first date...a walk in Eden Park and then back to my place for a beer and sittin on the porch...it was a PERFECT first date...great way to get to know somone...we were both shocked at how easy it was to talk to eachother and how much we both opened up. We look back now and are like Wow...we really layed it all out their! We continued to see eachother that week... i think it was just about every other day...and well the rest is history! I'm lucky because he lives so close! But i'm very pleased to introduce you to...if you haven't heard or have not met, my boyfriend!!!!!

In June I went to elgin, to see my cousin Kenzie dance in her recital...she is on a Hip Hop competition team and let me tell you that girl can shake it and does she have sas!!! Girl you were Awesome!! So fun to see you dance!

In July I went to Cancun with my friend Megan...we met while working at Gap together...now she's a teacher and i'm a nurse...well we wanted to go to the beach so we threw the trip together in less than a month and were on our way...we had a blast...we spent a lot of time on the beach...well pool side...you pretty much had to stay in the water to stay cool but it was fun...couldn't have picked a better person to vacation with!

July 4th Tim starts to experience obnoxious pictures...and my specialness as some would say...i like this picture so i included it for you!

Spent a lot of time at the pool this summer too...sometimes Ella Bean would join us...with her mommy Christina...it's hard when ya gotta drive 20 minutes but it's worth it when ya get to hang out with a best friend and her cute little girl

In August...it's an awful picture but i went to yes you are reading right my FIRST outdoor baseball game! Tim got some tickets from work...we were two rows back from the field between 3rd and home...to bad it wasn't a very exciting game....

Got to go home for another visit in July as well well end of july beginging of August...Here I am with my best friend and her baby Audrey at my parents 50th birthday party!!!

After a couple days at home, i traveled with my family to Jekyll Island, GA for my cousin Josh's wedding here's all the sibs all dressed up...we entertained ourselves with pictures while waiting for dinner to start...we had a blast at the beach, pool, and dancing the night away!!!

In August Jessica and I celebrated her 24th birthday with some Pedicures and a day of shopping at the HUGE homegoods store (it's like tj max only its all home stuff!) my wonderful boyfriend showed it to me...I LOVE IT!!!!

We also went out with a bunch of girls to a movie and for some drinks and apps that night! it was soooo fun!

NO pictures in September :( sorry...boring month again

But in October my mommy and daddy came....I LOVED every second of it!!!

Mom and i Spent 3 yes thats right 3 hours in the homegoods store...and did some mass damage! But it was so fun my mom and dad helped me get my apt all set up and did an awesome job...painting my living room and kitchen...thanks guys!

We went down to the boat house Montgommery Inn for dinner with my parents one night and mom took some awesome pictures of Tim and I. I blew this one up to a 11x14 and framed it in my living room...it was straight out of the camera no editing!!!

This one my mom took too...infront of my newly designed fire place...we covered the nasty tile with black contact paper and my dad screwed in these awesome sconces i got all 4 for only 28 dollars! I love it!!! This wasn't the best picture but it's hard to tell when loading pictures for this thing!!! but it was a fun week of shopping, haning out and eating, and some more eating!

Moving on to OCTOBER... bear with me folks i know it's a long one

Tim and I drove straight threw to MN stopping to pick up Natey boy in WINONA...I made it the whole 11 hours with no sleeping! Tim drove the majority on the way there...i finished it out...he had worked the whole day before we left at 5pm cincy time on thursday and arrived in rochester at 3 am MN time on friday...it was so worth it...wish we could have stayed longer

Went to our first wedding together...my other little brother Brice Hemmer married Jenny! Brice is Brianna's little brother and well He is a great friend, we had many fun drives back and fourth from the twin cities when i was at bethel...He is very dear and near to my heart, and I wouldnt' have missed his wedding for anything!

The best part of all was i got to see my best friend!!! Although i didn't get to spend nearly enough time with her!!! here are just a few of the goofy pictures we took!

This was fun...they did the dollar dance, and danae and i suprised brice and both danced with him at one time...we both tapped his shoulder and he turned around and said "Whoa...two dietzmans..." We replied well YEA! It was to fun!

Tim and I dancing...this is not uncommon...probably telling me that i'm a hill billy of some sort!!! I promise you it is not a sweet and tender moment...although you can pretend he is singing to me...awww sweet.

The day after the wedding we took Tim on a tour of down town...here we are posing with one of several geese down town...in Cincinnati they have Pig statues everywhere... in rochester...geese!

My wonderful boyfriend took me to my first pre and regular season NFL game! Here we are tailgating before the bears and bengals game...I tried to show some love to the bears...Tim's friends were not fans...but thought i should be true to my team...but let me tell you the Bears were embarassing that day! Poor Tim had been sick the whole week before with the "little Piggy" (he had the swine flu or H1N1, take your pick their all the same thing) so he was not quite up to par at this point!

OK...were almost there...NOVEMBER

I went to chicago with some girls from work... we did Navy Pier, shopping on Mich. Ave, Ed. Debevics, and went to Howel at the Moon...a sooooo fun Dueling piano bar!!!

Oh yea, i also got to meet up with some old church camp friends....Caili and i had sushi in the Nordstroms food court and Shea came to my hotel and we got starbucks...it was wonderful to catch up with them for a couple minutes!

We celebrated this little bundle of joy's first birthday...she has no clue what she is in for with her mama and all her friends

I got PTO this night and got to go watch the UC game with Tim and some of his friends...from left is Brain, Lance, and Jeff...there great!

So as a nurse...i'm a little morbid...I work night shift...and after a stressful night at work we decided at 10 the night before when i was running between two patients rooms with reactions to a blood transfusion and a reaction to an antibiotic...and an irregular heart rhythm...i had the doctor with me...for about 4 hours...it was a busy night...well anyways we decided we would go to a cafe called echo...we can get a cocktail in the early morning hours...well we were a little slap happy and when we walked out of the restaurant...now mind you we we work with the geriatric population...but this woman was like a walking bill board...i'm terribly sorry if i offend...

I have experienced many Elder football games this year...okay well just two...but Jeff and I showed our support...Elder is in the top 5 nationally ranked highschool football teams, and where Tim and all of his friends attended...dont' quote me on that national ranked business...but it's been said that it's harder to get a ticket to an elder game than a bengals game...they are also famous for their land locked football stadium called "The Pit" Labor day weekend they had one of their games nationally televeised on ESPN at the PIT...

Here are some random pictures...I posted this for Veterns day...My Grandpa Ralph served in the Air Force...he was one handome dude! And is the best Grandpa EVER!!!!

My mom got a new program to turn slides into digital pictures...and found several heart warming pictures of a sweet little daddy's girl, who turned out to be the "wild one" but still a daddy's girl!

The day after thanksgiving Tim and his friends watch football all day...Brain was supportive of me and my love of blue moon and drank one with me...we even did orange smiles!!!

So I'm pretty sure i won't be able to sleep yet...I have to work tomorrow night so i guess i'll just train my body and sleep in a little tomorrow...I'll go to bed after i fill this out...sorry no pictures i don't think I have any anyways...but just so you know...your prayers have worked and Ella Abbigail is home with her mommy and daddy and doing wonderful, I even got to feed her yesterday...it was glorious!

But she doesn't have the tube in her nose anymore!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord!!! The tube you see in her nose is O2 thats gone now too!!!!!!

What...2 days in a Row?

Update on baby Ella: She is doing quite well her lungs look good! I went to go see her today and she was sleeping the whole time :( but it's alright it helps her heal! :) They said she might get her chest tube out tomorrow (Friday). For those of you that don't speak medical terms, it a tube inserted into your pleural space or the area around your lung to help drain off fluid, and sometimes air. They also are going to start feeding her through the tube in her nose! She still hasn't had anything to eat. Don't worry she's getting nutrition through a PICC line or fancy IV in her arm!

Can't get over how precious this little angle is!

It was an exciting day at 4010 Eileen we got fish! They are Kendra (cari's fish), Bridget (my fish), and Holly (Jessica's fish). They are named after the girls next door! We got three different ones, Kendra has a little bit of black, and Bridget has a little white and lipstick, and Holly is all gold baby!

After we got our fish we had a few errands to run, and we coudldn't leave the girls in the car so we took them into Micheals with us, I was working on a project for my room...more to come on that in the near future!

Here the fish are all settled into their new home!

Okay so that project, I would have official pictures posted but i'm not qutie finished with it all yet, and i wanted you to be able to get the full effect. But since there is a stupid Stud the size of texas in my wall what i wanted to do wouldn't work so this picture your seeing is the result of several failed attempts at hanging a picture. Needless to say there were no pictures hung in that area, okay just not the ones i wanted but still i had to cover the wholes, so taping of some pictures ensued....But like i said i'll post those pictures later!

Now dear friends of mine in MN, please be grateful that you live there and if you see my mom dad sister or brother please give them a big bear hug for me! I miss them something awful right now, I almost starte crying today at Noodles and company over Wi. Mac and Cheese, b/c well WI. is close to MN don't ya know, and well i just miss my family that bad! Now i didn't say i actually cried but i for sure welled up, but i was with a boy and well i didn't think he'd get it so i pulled it together and we didn't talk about the mac and cheese anymore. I also don't want you to get to excited b/c i updated 2 days in a row you see i was off these last two days in a row so i could blog,even though it is 2:30 in the morning. But I work all weekend thats 3 nights in a row on 3 west commonly known as Fecal Feast, so i'm not so sure i'll be blogging so much, but don't worry project/room and kitchen pictures are coming soon, there are lots of changes happen 'round here!

So I've been a little off kilter with out my computer and couldn't upload pictures with out, therefore could not truely update you in my life...so with the computer fixed...and the pictures loaded i will do my best to update you on some exciting and maybe not so exciting things in my life! But hopefully we can stay on top of this whole update you on my life thing, and bring you just a litte closer to me and my life here in cincinnati, where i know you all want to visit!

My good friend Luke recently got a puppy! His name is Silas, (i helped pick out his name, and being true to his name he is a very good companion). I love this little guy like he was my own, but he's not so i get by by being the puppy nanny, and spoil him rotten. Although as of late i'm missing my probably not so little guy. In this picture Luke had just gotten him, and he is only 11 weeks old, and probably about 14 pounds, now he is about 25. Silas is a rescue puppy, and is part lab, part alaskan husky, and maybe some chow, were not sure. But he is sweeter than a button, and already, sits, lays down, and shakes, were working on the roll over thing. He truely will put a smile on your face, and he still has yummy puppy breath, so it's fun getting kisses from him!

Next up, I went to Ball State to visit my cousin Ashley. She is working on her Masters! She is just "a girl living in an apartment tryin to get by" Actually i would say more than getting by! Her apartment is super cute! It was so much fun for us to just hang out and get to know eachother better! We shall i say remet about 2 years ago at thanksgiving we hadn't seen eachother since we were babies. We had a blast going out to eat at a fun little place i think it was cajun food! and then rented a movie and cozied up with what else but a girls best friend, some oreos and other assortments of junk food! The next day we slept in, laid in bed and chit chatted and then watched another movie, and then went and met some of her friends, at a drag show that ball state was putting on, it was very interesting to say the least, then we went out for drinks and apps!

So excited i get to see this girl in 2 weeks!

We can't leave out Halloween! I at the last minute called up a friend to see what she was doing, and but of course there was a halloween party to attend, and I had to come up with a costume. My Aunt Amy had called me earlier to tell me that she had dressed up as me for halloween...a nurse. So I decided to be her in highschool. Some gave the name flash dance. But whatever you call it, it's just more fun, when your dressed like this!

Since the roomies were MIA on Halloween we had our fun the night after and got all gussied up and went out for some random adventures! Cari's little sister made it down for fun with what Jessica's Fiance's co-worker calls The Bikini Team. Hey i'll take it! He meet us for the first time this night, and were not so sure if he can handle all of us, at least not with some back up from Landon.

Introducing....ELLA ABIGAIL RUTTER!

We waited and waited and waited the whole nine months for this little, girl, we cried, and prayed, and laughed the whole nine mo. For this little girl, and we continue to do so. She arrived at approximately 8:30 Wed Nov. 5th, 2008. To proud mama Christina! She was 5 pounds 6 ounces...and were on sure of the length...i guess 21 inches...although i'm sure this is 2 long for this little bean!

Please Pray for this little girl, she needs lots of it. The night after she was born she was having problems coughing up some phlem, which she had also had trouble with earlier in the day. She was also breathing very fast, so they took her to the Intensive care nursury. There they discovered she had what is called Tracheal Esophageal Fistuala, or TEF and Esophageal Aphasia. Long story short her esophogus did not connect to her stomach. She was quickly transfered to the RICNIC and Cincinnati Childrens Hospital, where they are taking very good care of her. She had Surgery on Friday, Nov. 7th, where they connected her esophogus to her stomach. She is currently still in the Intensive Care unit, and is fighting hard. Pray that she would come through this, like we believe she can, for her Mom and Dad as they watch their little girl, for there other son they have at home, pray for peace, and healing. Your prayers are felt, and appreciated!

In other not so sad news....

I got to see my baby brother and sister this last weekend! I drove up to Chicago on friday morning after i got called off on Thursday night...it was wonderful!

I left Cincinnati at about 9:30 and went and had lunch with my grandma at our favorite place, in the town square. Then it was on to Chicago, where i suprised my cousins...they didn't know we were coming, then i waited patiently for Nate and Danae to get there, and watch them suprise my cousins! On Friday we got pizza and just hung out with the cousins, thrown them around and such. On Saturday it was crazy bowling and more just hangin around, and sunday it was church, and then a day full of shopping! And back to cincy on Saturday!

So this is my third night on night shift then i get 2 nights off. It is also my third night out on my own, they uped my patient load to 4 tonight they are all behaving themselves so that is good. Last night was a little crazy, i had a lady who wanted to get dressed at 2 in the morning which is fine...but she was already dressed (in a gown of course) but she was the host of the party that i apparently ruined, by letting crudy dudy's in her house! Oh my! OH and this was just humiliating to her. She also pulled her catheter out just an extra little treat, we of course put that back in! I have no pictures for you b/c my computer is broken...but i feel the need to update well because i have not done so in an extreamly long time...and Pastor Ryan had to go and put a link to my blog...so i guess i had better get my butt in gear!

I'm at work right now it's my first night "by myself" I started with 3 patients but one went home b/c she was just hear for a blood transfusion she was a very sweet lady, i wish she could have stayed. So now i'm down to two! I like them alright, one is kind of grouchy and told me to leave her a lone! I will gladly oblige (sp?)!

Well those of you that know me at all would never disagree with this statement...or that i am my fathers daughter! Lets face it i got the best of 2 worlds!!!! But the title is meant to talk about my obsession with "my" kitchen...I share it with my roommates of course...but I have been deamed the Kitchen Natzi...or the kitchen lady.
I think this comes from my mother, i come from a very organzied for the most part kitchen and the way things are placed is in order of their use and how much we will be using them etc. it is also fairly clutter free!

Also my roommates have called me mom this would come to no suprise to most of you! I spent a lot of time cooking this last week...b/c i wanted to! Truth be told I love cookin' and bakin'! I have made in my opinion some pretty nummy dinners and like my mother I have to include pictures of what i've cooked!!

Yummy pull apart pasta...this was served with french baggett and dipping oil, and a white wine!!
A nummy cake...it's fun-fetti...i know lame it's from a box...but it was last minute and it's my roommates favorite!!!!!
This was my dinner tonight...it's very health it's a chicken salad made with yogurt!!!! So summer-e and fresh...I had this with some pita bread and hummus!!!!

And to think with all this cookin' and organizin' no one's snatched up this catch yet ;) ... I mean seriously!!

**Note: Not pictured is a yummy beef skillet dish i made, as well as nummy salads with seasoned chicken that me and my roommate cooked up last night...okay well there's a picture but we may have ate our dinner in our underwear and our hair in towels and well we'll keep this sight G rated for now!**

So this will be short and sweet...because i'm watching a movie with my roommate! But I new i needed to post a few things so you knew i wasn't dead so this will sum up summer and moving back to ohio with pictures! Oh and b/c i'm lazy they are in no particular order

I could just write a boring ol' update and that was my plan until I realized that, today is not a day for just an ordinary update...because it's Fathers day...and much like mothers day, it is thought by my many to be just another Hallmark created Holiday when in fact neither are. I being the investigative type did my research and found this wonderful website that explains just a little bit of the History of Fathers day... http://wilstar.com/holidays/fathers.htm#HISTORY I highly recommend checking it out. In fact Fathers and Mothers day were around Long before Hallmark was even a thought in someones head. But all that is just the beginning...

In Sunday school today...Yes I went to sunday school...It had been awhile since i had been to an actual sunday school class, I mean i've been going to church just not sunday school, but i went today, and in the class the teacher asked us to share about how our Earthly Fathers were examples (if they were) to us of our heavenly Father. I didn't get a chance to share, In a class filled with shall I say "older" adults of people I didn't know all that well, well i just didn't get a chance and didn't feel like chimming in. But that didn't stop me from thinking about my Daddy!

(Just fair warning this may come out all jumbled and such)

A few ways my dad reminds me of my heavenly Father and ways that He has been an example to me are...

He is a Servant...Through the years I have watched my dad serve in numerous ways, in big and small, in and out of the church. I remember him going early to make the coffee for Sunday school, and then of course there is faithfully playing the drums everyother week for the last 10 years (in the beginning it was every week)! He also never heistates to help out a friend with any kind of work, and has been a finincial counselor to others as well.

My dad also leads a life of integrity and is an example to all he comes in contact with he leads the same life to those at work as he does at home and at church. He is honest and well respected at all of the above places. He is looked up to by many and has been able to step in and be a father figure to many. Not to mention he always seems to have the answer ;)

My dad is Loving He gives the best Hugs in the world, and I know (even if it is through the grapevine sometimes) That he is proud of me for what I'm doing, that he misses me when i'm not home. And although you hear others say they are proud of you it doesn't mean the same as when it comes from you Daddy.

My dad is encouraging, when i didn't want to go to work or to school b/c of a teacher or a boss, he would always say ya just gotta do it, you'll always run into people like that, I don't like that answer but it's true. And I even got to say it to him a couple weeks ago.

My Daddy makes me feel special, I love it when he gives me compliments, a 1000 people could tell me I look pretty but when you hear it from your Daddy it doesn't matter what those other 1000 people say! :) One of my favorite stories to tell is how my Daddy cared enough to pick out my dress for Graduation...Thank you daddy! I still have it...and even better it still fits :)

I know I have not said enough about my dad...b/c words can not describe this man, this man that has been an example to me of what a Father should be what a Fathers love looks like, and what I hope my Husband is someday. You are a wonderful example not only to your children but all that come in contact with you.

I'm blessed to have a Daddy like you! I love you!!!!!!!

So....
I may have forgotten to actually give you the promised update! I am breathing, but only sometimes these days! To get you up to speed....
I finished my last semester of Nursing School, It was rather stressful, but i pulled through with a rather decent grade if i do say so myself. I am currently taking my last class.... it's called roll transition. We work with whats called a preceptor, we work their schedule and just suck that knowledge in as best we can. In fact thats where i'm at right now, I work night shift with my preceptor Dixie! tonight is 11p-7a. After i get off here i will go straight to work at the Gap, followed by a couple hours of sleep then class at 5-6:50 but then i get to go play rock band which i'm super excited about and then will probably crash all tuesday! But hey I can't miss the party right! ?!?!

In other news, I spent 4 days in florida with 3 of my girlfriends from school, it was just what the doc. ordered after our last semester we spent everyday all day on the beach! and i got myself nice and bronzed! I will put pictures up asap of all of this info once i get on my computer! ;)

I also am helping my friend luke start up a youth group at his church, i'm mainly support, and well he needs girls b/c i think young girls scare him a little;)

Well it's back to work...I think gotta go check on my sleepy patients...and hope they don't need anything...i can't get any medicine out i'm not that special, and my preceptor is outside...(breathing treatment ;-) )

Birthdays Coming From EVERYWHERE!!!!

Well this just happens to be the day to be born on!  3 Very important people to me have birthdays on this very special day!!!First there is this very special Lady!  She's my mommy!!!!  Her age well we won't say! ; -) But I love her lots and lots!!!!  She brought me into this world, so that right there would make her pretty neat but she also put up with a lot from me!  And then go figure i go and leave her for Cincinnati!!!  I miss her but hopefully will get to see her soon, and I know those that are in MN will treat her right, give her lots of hugs and love and such!!!

Then....There is this little bundle of JOY!  Haha I guess she's not really little anymore but she's my cousin and apparently 1 of 3 of my mini me's we've spent lots of time together most of which she will never remember!!!  I rocked her for hours when she was in her "coloick (sp?) phase!  She is so much fun to be around so sweet!  And i just ADORE this picture of her with my little brother, it just says so much about him, and well she just looks so content!!!  I love you Brigs Happy 9th Birthday!!!!!

There is my best friend from Cincinnati Christina!!! It's her birthday 2 it took me like 15 times asking her when her birthday was and going...oh yea thats my mom and my cousins birthday to remember that it was her birthday on that day!!!  Sorry!!!  I get to go see her later today I'm super excited we are going to eat dinner and such!!!!  She has made living in Cincinnati so much better so I'm very happy to have in her my life!!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY  LOVE you and will see you soon!!!!

A Pickle...

IN A BAG...I know i could hardely believe my eyes. At clinical on Friday one of the PCA's offered me one of my favorite foods in rare form...

Yup folks thats a pickle in a bag...and not just any pickle a GIANT pickle!!! I had to save it to bring it home and take a picture. I still have some of it it was "rich" if thats a word for a pickle and could only eat half of it.

Aside from my exciting gift of the PICKLE on friday my day was rather stressful. I am on my mental health rotation, and this week i had 2 patients. Thursday went wonderfully i discharged one a teenager who just needed a swift kick to the butt and a middle aged alcoholic who was rather pleasant, just well going through with withdrawals. But friday i got a new patient a 45 year old woman with a history of drug abuse, sexual abuse as a child and prostitution, cutting, and suicide attempts she was in for suicidal ideation(had a plan). Well she also had borderline personality disorder...look it up! but in short imagine a teenager, a very needy one that is very manipulative with bipolar but instead of the ups and downs lasting a couple of weeks or days they last for hours sometimes minutes. Needless to say life suckers....just exhausting patients, so at the end of the day all i wanted to do was scream, and shake this woman....but i know she was sick, but still it's hard, and medicine doesnt' help them, and she couldn't get antianxieties b/c of being a drug addict....errrrr but other than that i LOVE this mental health unit, and actually would like to work in psych ...more specifically i think i want to work in adolecent psych!!!!!

Friday night i stayed home, took a nap, worked on my resume, bc i have a job interview this week, and went to bed early.

Saturday i worked all day, but at the end of my shift my friend megan came i hadn't seen her in forever so we got to chat for a little bit. Then I went to my friend Christina's and we got to go shopping, I got a few things nothing exciting well okay a little a jacket for my job interview for 10$ very cute, and then a blue stripped shirt also maybe for my interview we'll see how i feel on wed. And then a dress to wear this friday for Christina's birthday outing it's cute but i'm not sure i want to keep it, maybe i'll post a picture this week and you can all give your 2 sense!!! AFter shopping we went and rented a movie..."Sydney White...and the 7 dorks" it was very cute a spoof on snow white with amanda bynes I like her so i thought the movie was funny...We also got chipotle for dinner yum yum in my tummy!!!!!

Today i checked out a new church, it was okay but i don't think i want to drive that far (1/2 hour) for something that was just "okay". I took a nap when i got home it was glorious. And then headed to a new panera, i like to mix it up! it is currently filled with adolecent boys who apparently just got out of a swim meet all of their hair is wet and has the same "look" to it. But I should probably start studying for that big test i have on tuesday. Wish me luck!!!!!

A Cincinnati Snow Day!!!!

Okay so the snow day was really yesterday...but i didn't get out and couldn't get my computer to down load the "snow" pictures!!!!

The prediction of snow started as early as Sunday night which sends the whole city in to a tizzy!!! They don't know what to do with this white stuff called snow....and they certainly don't know how to drive in it!!!!

Well Monday morning several schools were delayed i looked outside and could not figure out for the life of me why they were delayed....as it turns out it was just too cold to send those little kiddies off to the bus stop that early now try not to fall over laughing but it was 13 degrees! Can you believe it 2 hour delays and even some cancellations because it was just too cold to go outside...

Well the snow was supposed to start that evening (monday) and it did by around 7pm our night instructor was sure to make sure we were out in pleanty of time so we didn't have to drive in it...It didn't start sticking till probably around 10 o'clock that night...and although its crazy i coudlnt' help but secretly wish for snow day on tuesday.

On tuesday i woke up around 2:00 in the morning i had fallen asleep with the T.V. on ooops!!! But i stayed awake long enough to find out that school for me was not yet cancelled you have to understand this can take up to 1/2 hour because of the endless list of schools they have to go through for northern Kentucky as well as western Indianna and Southern Ohio known as the tri state area...WEll school had not yet been cancelled

I will say that there was also a wintery mix so ice is probable cause... but really the road weren't bad

WEll I wake up at 7:15 am like a good little girl but before i fully wake myself up i check one more time just incase school might be cancelled...and well folks i see it after struggling to keep my little baby eyelids open..."The Christ School of Nursing" but you see i'm a little anal and thats not enough so i got up and was gonna go check the internet when i decided to check my phone and my good friend had sent me a message saying that school was cancelled and to enjoy my snow day...so back to bed I went until almost 11:00 what a wonderful morning....

I did have to go to work so my "day off" with all that snow was not as productive as it should ahve been! but aww well...I aint complaining.

YOu'll never guess what was uttered at work that night as it began to flurry just flurry mind you I said "oh it's snowing again" and someone said "oh no" and i said "what it's just a little snow." and he said "but we have to drive" crazy ohio people!!!

This was yesterday while i a was trying to make my crappy computer work...Yea for snow days and hot chocholate!!!!! In my favorite starbucks mug!!!! (thanks nate)

Okay so maybe not such a good play on words but i did check out some human bodies this weekend...I had seen Body Worlds back when it was in the twin cities...and my good friend Rachel (pictured below) asked me if i wanted to go the exhibit with her aunt and uncle i jumped at the chance b/c well it's just that cool!!!! The exhibit was different than Body Worlds same movie but differen poses and not so much stuff a lot smaller than Body Worlds...so in the end i think I would recommend that one!Waitin in line for the imax movie!!! The big ol' sign!

Well it's been over a month...I ain't dead just crazy busy!!!!

In this months time I have since arrived back in Cincinnati, had a birthday, we went to dinner and hung out it was quite a blast as you can tell from the pictures below!!! Two of my best girlfriends from school

...went to Winter RetreatMe and Kari the the two Nurses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My mom and baby sister suprised me!!!! It was wonderful!!!!!!

Last weekend I got to spend the weekend with my other good girlfriend from school!!!!

We went shopping...and celebrated my birthday twice....she got me cheesecake and put fun HAPPY BIRTHDAY candles on it....she couldn't make it to dinner and such the weekend or two before that...but then....We went to her mama's and then had lunch and another birthday cake...they were just tooo sweet to me!!!!

But this week was my first week on the Mental Health Unit...I loved it!!! Not to mention i got to wear "REAL" scrubs!!!! I've included a picture...I owe a big thank you to all of my aunties who got them for me for my birthday!!!! They are extreamly comfortable!!!!! Yes i get to wear my PJ's to work...What could be better!!!!!

Wow can you believe it!

Just a short little diddy for you...I'll try and keep you entertained over break!!!! My day was a good one!!! I didn't wake up till 11:15 today and I loved it!!! Although i didn't have time to get ready for work. I quickly got ready and ate breakfast (my favorite meal of the day), and then was off for my short little shift...just to learn a few new tricks pretty much.

For those of you that don't know I take care of a 21 year old girl who is developmentally and physically disabled to put it shortly she is about 9mo mentally. She recently had her leg broke so I had to get the low down on how they are taking care of her now...basically we move slower and more careful with that leg. Today she was pretty sleepy she had a seizure during bath time and that pretty much knocks her out the two things together! So long story short i watched t.v. for 2.5 hours! But it was good to see her again! And i'm sure i'll get to spend lots of time with her over break which i'm thrilled for!

After work I had some frozen pizza with my lil brother and then helped my mom paint the bathroom for about a 1/2 an hour and then it was off to work out which felt amazing i hadn't done that since thursday. Then i quickly hurried up and got ready, because Miss Brianna was on her way over!

You know it's a good friend when she'll hug you when your still in your towel and not quite ready to go! Didn't even bat an eye lash gosh i love that girl.

After i was finished getting ready and dressing both of us...she changed her clothes into some of mine...I love that i get to share clothes with her! It's fun! We went to "our" place...Dos Amigos were both suckers for good mexican food! And it was amazing, I may have eaten just a few to many chips though, but what could be better than good food and good friends!!! It was fun to catch up, I'll get to see lots of her over break I HOPE! hehe

After dinner we came back home and then we decided to go say hi to her family but they were gone :( And now i'm home, and really I want to go to bed but I feel it's too early especially since i slept till 11! Oh well!!!!

Well it's been a long time...Infact i'm back in MN now but just for Christmas break!!!! Exciting news...I passed semester 3 of nursing. Below are pictures of my fall semester it would take forever to tell you everything i did...so enjoy the pictures with small explanations!!!!This is my clinical group...we had 3, 5 week rotations...we started in womans health (med surge) then went to the Childrens Hospital for a pediatric rotation we were on an adolecent floor which i absolutly loved. We finished up in labor and delivery and postpartum.
Over labor day weekend i went and visited family in Chicago!!! It was fun to get away while school work hadn't piled up yet!!!! I came home for my fall break in Oct. for a wedding we also took some family pictures! Above is just one of many that we took. Below is out to dinner with the family!!!
The first weekend in Nov. I went and visited my friend Mark in Miami it was for sure the best time of year to go...it was tons of fun...we went to the beach, and the marina, and it was just amazing!

For Thanksgiving I went to Chicago and met my family there...I took the Mega bus an interesting experience...very smooth...and cheap! I highly recommend it!

Well It's all really bitter sweet! I was ready to come back because i missed friends here, but at the same time, I knew i was going and I do already miss home...I just have to not think about it so much. Thats the ticket... I will say the transition was much much easier this time around. It makes it a whole lot better when you get to see a familiar face when you move back in who will give ya a good hug!

But before I tell you about my adventures of the drive down here...I'll fill you in on my last week...and it just wouldn't be the same with out them...yes i have documented proof of most of my last weeks events!

Squeezed in a coffee with good friend Josie on Tuesday I believe it was although I could be mistaken i'm not really sure but we got to have coffee it's a world record for us getting together twice in one summer...We grew up together...Love this girl to death...She moved to Washington State this summer!

On Thursday I had coffee with Beth...good friend and Mentor always so good to talk to her, such an encouragement! After coffee with Beth on Thursday i ran into these boys who were waiting for Kate to get her first clue on her fun scavenger hunt!Kate doesn't like suprises so I traveled with her on her scavenger hunt this is steve reading her an oh so interesting poem outside of fiesta Mexicana!!!I had to quick rush back to caribou to get my car and travel to Cannon falls to have dinner at the McDonalds with this lovely lady Miss. Kristinwho is getting married in under 50 days!!! I hadn't seen her in over a year!!!! She is like an older sister to me!!!! Love you!!!!

On Friday I went to Gold Rush in Oronoco with the Family where i purchased a pyrex mixing bowel in a cool blue color i got it for 8 dollars....which is a steel b/c later that day we saw the same bowl for 30$ I love it i am starting a collection for my house someday...it's the kind of mixing bowls my mom uses!! I love them!!!!

Friday NIght i went out to dinner with Brianna we ate at West fire it was yummy. AFter we were done eating we went and did a little shopping and then...

I went to go say goodbye to miss jackie and she was not home :( tear....so WE called her and left special treats on her camera for her to remember me by...Jackie if you have not yet checked your camera you may want to do so...I hope you enjoy the video...you can use it to remember me by!!!!Then i went home where these good lookin boys were waiting to say good bye...they are just too sweet...i'm not sure if they really came to say bye to me but either way it was fun getting to know them this summer...I have a whole lot of little brothers and sisters now thats for sure...and i LOVE it!

But to my adventure moving back down here....

I left early saturday morning I believe I left the house at 7:15 and was well on the highway by 7:30 had to stop for gas...I had my coffee in hand and was on my way to Milwaukee...why you ask well I was seeing a new friend...his name is Shawn...we met on eharmony and I meet him for the first time a week ago....we spent the day together a week ago as well as two days ago...So i got a tour of milwaukee some good coffee, visited Irish fest had some irish beer watched a movie, and went to dinner at a fun little Italian place. then we went back to his place and hung out for a little bit then I had to go it was already 8:30 by the time we got to his place so i didn't actually leave milwaukee until 9:30. But the sweetheart he went and got my car for me it was freezing all day long and rainy. But then I was on my way....NOt really sure when i'll see him again...but i'll keep you posted ...or you could just call me! ( i like it when people call)

Driving though was the worst it was dark...and raining like crazy which sucked! And i got lost twice but thank goodness for daddy's who are map savy and computer savy and he finds me and then tells me if i'm going the right way!!!! I got to my Aunt Amy's house around 12 and went straight to bed. But was woken up by well just about the sweetest puppy ever....She is 12 weeks old and a yorkie poodle mix...she just snuggled right up with me! It was just too cute!!! I got up and had coffee with my aunt amy did a little catching up but not a ton cause she had to get going to church...I just lounged around a little bit then started getting ready and left the house by 10:30 I think it was...and was on my way to the Nati

But before I could leave I had to take some pictures with the just way toooo cute Dixie!!!!!!

I got to Cincy around 5 thats 5 cincy time so it was 4 by where most of you are from!!!! but i leisurly unpacked all my stuff...got it into the house didn't really un pack a little but not a lot...then I laid down for a little bit and my good friend Luke came over to see me.... we hung out at my place for a little bit then went for some Cincinnati Chilli at Skyline and ate it at his place while he had is Fantasy football draft and I watched Napolean Dynamite...then we chilled on his patio which is right next a little creek/pond thingy...very nice!!! then he brought me home and we hung out for a little bit longer then it was time for bed...

This am i slept till around 8 then was in and out for about 2 hours so 10 i finally decided i should at least think about getting up...I haven't been sleeping well so i don't feel guilty at all!!!! But i lounged for a little big watched a little Ellen...and cereal with no milk for breakfast!!!! and then started unpacking and getting all my stuff organized... was done with that by about 12 so i got ready and proceeded to go run errands I had to go to the post office and Gap to get hours again...I don't like that i have to be available so much scares me that i'll get to many hours so we'll see i'll just start asking off weekends if i have to!!!! That will stop that business!!!! Daddy said i only have to work 8-12 hours so that makes me happy!!!!!

After Gap I am no at panera using their interent and got myself a little lunch and am freezing my butt off!!! But after i finishe up here i'll got to Wal*mart and get stuff i need food and what have you then home to get ready for the first day of school!!!! (Thats tomorrow!)

Well hopefully I haven't bored you too horibbly but hopefully I will do a better job of keeping this updated...I am so far liking it again....especially with the automatic save every like 10 seconds it seems!!!!!

But first things first lets just hope this whole thing doesn't go down the crapper after I have put long and laberous hours into it to make it just perfect for your viewing pleasure all though I'm almost positive that you have all been at least somewhat involved in my life in someway so you know a little of what is going on!!!!!

Is that sad that b/c I have not blogged in so long that I do not even know where to begin!?....random thought and excited moment coming your way....Blog now automatically saves my drafts so I will not loose everything i'm a liking this!!!!!! Okay so things that are significant in my life generally have pictures so lets start with those and that will point out the highlights of my summer!!!!

Okay so we sent my little sister to prom numbr one....I got to do her make up!!!!

Brianna and i had our wonderful first friend date of the summer in which i took her ona beautiful walk around silver lake and we played with the geese....it's sad to say that brianna had never actually walked all the way around the lake so she has no accomplished that task!

Danae and I had a caribou dat at 9:45 at night not pictured is Jaden!

Sent the little sister to prom number two i got to do her hair for this one!!!! This was the icing on the cake for my hair doing abilities i just about rocked the socks of this one folks!!!! The picture doesn't do it justice!!!!!And then she gradumated!!!! WE are all so very proud...also as you'll soon see this was the last week of me having long hair!!!!!I went to the cities and visited some awesome girls! cool picture that we took while chilling in the park!!!!!We roughed it at White water state park me and these two beautiful girls!! WE were not attacked we sent up the tent in the rain, with out a hammer for the stakes we forgot pillows and ketchup but hey we had a blast!I WEnt to church camp and was a counselor for year number 4 well three i guess if you count the year i missed but what a joy it has been to watch these girls grow in their faith and just grow up!!! I love them all dearly oh and the best part about camp this year....My little sister got to come!!!!! It was so much fun having her there!!!! I got her to myself well kind of for a whole entire week!!! It was sooooo much fun....maybe next year we'll even get to be in the same cabin ;)This cool guy was there too!!!! His name is Aaron Shust!! He has been the worship leader at camp for about 5 years now and he is just absolutly amazing!!!!!!Then I got go to the cities with my best friend, and we visited our best cousin and friend megan for dinner after we did some hardcore shopping!!! Brianna almost made it through the day!!!!! haha!! LOv eyou babe!!!! But it was just soo much fun we will have to do it another day and well Tom Tom he was a lovely assest to although he is not pictured he liked to tell us to " turn left and then turn left"This summer i found a new love that is named rockstar he is saved for special occasions such as long drives to the cities or when i will have to be energetic at camp but he is a wonderful little fruit juice with an extra jolt of energy and he's tasty too!!!!

WEll folks besides all these exciting photos I have spent my summer working about 50 hours a week at Gap and I also did homecare for a wonderful young girl whom I love dearly and just a joy to take care of!!!! WEll hopefully my love for blogging will return and i will give you the run down of my last week of rochester soon it should be exciting hope you weren't to bored out of your mind!!!! Seeing as how i was at panera for the whole afternoon doing homework or well trying to when not being distracted by myself and others i decided to treat myself to a highspeed internet blog. (so you can stop complaining about my inability to update!) with this highspeed internet i've also included some pictures!

My life as of late has consisted of school, work, and a new found social life which i am enjoying greatly! Although i am also sad b/c my one good girlfriend in the area decided to up and move back to Mn but while she was here i was lucky enough to meet some great guys who are proving to be pretty good friends, when they aren't trying to be jerks to prove to me that i really shouldn't be hangning out with them...they are silly...b/c it was once said my mom was the only one who can be a bad influence on me!

I only have 5 weeks of school left and one week of finals so that is exciting i'm very much looking forward to the end of this year and being able to just enjoy life and not worry about school! and getting to come home for awhile...although my disdain for cincinnati is becoming less.

Yes i have returned to blogger land.... I know you can hardly contain yourself! It's been well over 2 months now and i figured i owed it to the faithful few to update my blog! Not to mention it's valentines day...and i am reminded for the 21 year that my mom loves me! Because "i'm her sweetie" hehe! Thanks mom and dad for my treat!
I am back in Cincinnati incase you hadn't noticed which i hope you did b/c i'm sure your heart is just aching for me to return to my home land of MN. And i will in just 2.5 short months approximately!
My reason for blogging is to inform you that this is the third snow day her in cincinatti in two weeks, now thats just for my school, there has not been a day in the last two weeks where something has not been cancelled or delayed i'm sure. Also b/c of this i now am enjoying a 3 day weekend mid week. YOu see i don't have class on tuesday or thursday so yesterdays snow day did not affect me i still had to go to work...although i did not have to have a patient assignment today however i woke up at 5 to discover clinical/school had been cancelled folks this is the second week and i want to pass meds to people and give shots and if i have to learn how to catheterize patients..this i do not want to do i think i will work at mayo so i don't have to right brie it's all about the cath team! But anyways it's a snow day so i thought i could invest in some slow computer time to update my blog!
Nothing new has really happened as of late i shovel snow, i shine brass, i go to school, i go to work occasionally when i get hours, i crochet, and knit, i play tetris, do homework, i go to my new church which i really like the pastor is really good and i never look at the clock, and worship is really good too! Not to mention there is a young adults groups which i get to on occasion it's the night before clinical so sometimes i don't get to go. I've also met some great friends there one of which is from MN she actually went to Northwestern college which was down the street from bethel and is from Austin which is near rochester funny that we meet in Cincy but hey it's all good!
Well thats all folks i wish i could post pictures or something but that would take another 2 months so i'll just leave you with this! and Remember: "your MOM LOVES YOU!"

So I figured now that I've been home for a little over two weeks I had better give an update even though, the people who read this are those I have seen and therefore have most likely been apart of my activities! Firstly Lets start with my exciting first night home...
I was greeted by the ladies of ladies night including Miss Brianna Hemmer....oh dang it thats Mrs. Brianna Lewis now! It's a new thing for me! We immediatly left to go get me some dinner then to brie's cozy home to watch ER whooT!
The next couple of days i just hung out, accidently over-slept on my first day back to work...oops!
On Monday thats the first monday i was here not today i took my baby sister to her first college visit, What an HOnor! She wants to go where I went I want her to go there but shhhhh dont' tell her i said so she will love college no matter where she goes! But i have to tell you the cutest thing ever on the way there she said to me "I want to go there because I want to have friends like yours!" When we got home we hung out and watched good ol' Bobby's World, and then headed over to see my parents ringing the bell at sam's, I failed i dropped the bell i guess i'm not qualified for the job! Then it was off to Brie's house for movie night just the girls and below i've included some pictures of this joyful night for your viewing pleasure and i have no idea why they are side by side.!

Blog time! Brianna inspired me even though her blog didn't count because it was barely a sentance!
So here are some randoms from my life for the last month or so...
I am staying at a friends house this weekend...meaning fast internet...which i absolutly LOVE!
I have gone home to mn and gotten to see friends from Bethel,
my bestest friend got married to a wondeful man,
and i got to hang out with my familia!
I can't wait for thanksgiving so i can see my family again,
and then after that it's only 1.5 weeks and i will be home for a month approximately!

Lets see here labor day weekend i went to INdianna with the people pictured below! we were all sqeezed in a bigger than twin but smaller than double bed there are five of us! It was tons of fun we went to Brandon's grandma's rv at this campground where we grilled, and danced with old people...my favorite during the song "rollin' on the river" we all got on the ground and rolled literally!

My new friends like to have dance parties...in my room with my pink hat and mirror they broke it!.... bad boys!This week has been pretty boring, i had my first test and worked 25 hours i think i did pretty good on the test i'm feeling like it's a B but if i'm lucky that will turn into an A

So a few things to update you on!
Lets see the next day while i was out running errands i decided to eat at Panera by myself i know crazy well even crazier a guy comes out with his friend while i'm eating outside (there aren't as many people out there) and asks his friend where his girlfriend is he then looks at me and asks me where my boyfriend is i honestly tell him i do not have one! So he tells me "then i'm sitting down. He then proceeded to sit with me through my entire meal and have a converstaion with me he asked me for my phone number but i kindly declined but i do have his! I have been encouraged by two peoeple now to actually call him. He is my age and lives about a half hour from me! We'll see!

Other than that i have gone to richmond indianna for the weekend and hung out with the Harringtons and got to see my friend Will who is a Marine and has been in Iraq for several months!

Tonight i am going to the Baldwins a family friend and going to stay the night just to get some more people interaction, plus they are just way fun to hang around with! The have three kids in grades 6, 8 and 10!

I have worked at my job 3 different shifts it's a lot bigger and really different from the Gap back home but fun!

There is something i am forgetting oh my clinical will be on a post op surgical floor of people who have had some sort of reproductive or urital surgeries.

Still forgetting something and not quite sure what it is, GAs is super cheap i only paid 2.53 yesterday can you believe that i'm calling it cheap well it is!

If i remember the other thing i will post later!

Well just so everyone knows i made it to cincinatti (sp.?) i suppose i should learn how to spell the name of the city i live in? but i'm here none the less! there will be more updates to come with pictures and such but for now! i Just thought while i was eating my bowl of cereal! that i would share with you what happend tonight! I pretty much had non-stop visitors since i arrived and got my car un-packed! friends from new york whom i haven't seen in oh like 12-15 yrs. came over and then a daughter of someone i met in south carolina that is friends of the kirks came over and the neighbors and the lawn boy and his dad to fix the carpet from the radiator leak it's just been a busy night and i didn't get a chance to eat! So here i sit with my "special k" and water blogging and have yet to get a few things put away so i can find them in the am with out doing leaps and jumps! but i must go and do that before i fall over dad of tierdness! Please pray that i sleep good and wake up on time and that i have a good day meeting new people and that i would just really connect well with at least one person at school. thanks love ya!

So Funny story.... My dad had a craving for a white castle and no one really knows why they only stay in you for about 7 minutes but he was on mission! So with his little GPS system he looked one up on our drive from Ohio to Il. well he found one and it was close like 9 miles! So he instructs me to get off at this exit, and being the good daughter that i am i do as i'm told! well we end up driving through this small town, for about 2o minutes b/c the GPS system tell us too! the longer we drive the more skeptical my mom and i become! We start talking about how this "White castle" is probably white castle park! and just when the GPS system tells us that it's supposed to be to our left i see a park so i make the smart comment of "look dad there it is!" I was right it was a park, but he's like no thats not it! it was really just a school! So we drive a few more hundred yards and dad says well it should be here and we see nothing that resembles white castle restaurant but then wait... I look up and see a white castle flag! we have arrived! nope! It's the White castle bakery! Needless to say my dad did not get his white castle! but we did get a good story!

So i went to camp for a week where i was a counselor for middle school girls, and was also the assistant rec director and assistant nurse! WEll the last night i was there some old campers showed up! Ie the norman boys! jeffy and erin, bryan the rec director and heather who was there on and off due to the fact that she was busy planning her wedding!

I left camp early so i could be a wittness to My good friend Josie Bisset becoming Josie Loyd! Thats right she gotted married! She was beautiful! I got to be her personal attendant and it was a blast!

My Cousin's Jersti and Kale came to spend the week with us! It was fun having babies around!Well yesterday i just got back from a weekend in Elgin i returned the kiddos and went to a friends wedding! She was my counselor from camp all through highschool! And sadly i didn't take any pictures but here's us the week before her wedding! Oh and i promise never to wait this long to do a blog again b/c it takes freaking forever to do all these pictures on here! So you better all like this blog and leave me lots of comments or else!

Well it's been a while and since i can't get into the bathroom at the moment i thought nows as good as ever!

Currently i'm busy working at Gap and Culver's! I also babysit on Friday mornings!

This last weekend my baby brother graduated from Highschool! Next weekend is his party! and then the morning after that i fly to Hilton Head South carolina i will have to get pictures of all of the above to show you!

Well for the sole reason that brianna got on my case about not updating I will do my best to fill you all in on the happenings of the last 2 weeks or so, granted this will be with out the pictures which really help you to feel like you were there which many of you were so I guess it's not different!
For starters I think We are the last University to finish our semester! I still have a Week left of class yup thats classes not finals i don't take finals until May 22 though the 26th! I don't have any on the 26th though!
It's weird I am transferring next year, to The Christ College of Nursing and Health sciences in Cincinnatti Ohio and i feel as though i should feel more sad about leaving bethel but truth be told I'm not! I am so looking forward to this new experience and i get to meet a whole new slew of people! Granted I am scared too! I will be living on my own for the first month until the family returns from their summer home! But in a house in a city all by myself that i don't know that well! And i will miss my friendS! but i know that i will see them again! Cause of course i'll be back to visit!
In other news, i recently found out my good friend Josie is engaged! but not only that she is getting married on July 22 yup thats like 2 months away! they just got engaged like 2 weeks ago! crazy! I am going to be her personal attendant! Yippie!
I also got to go watch Miss Briann gradutate! from college! She was cute! It was fun to make her laugh during the ceremony there were funny faces and rabbit hands! Oh and Megan and i took lots of pictures, we even got an eye ;)
I helped at yet another prom, Studio Academy! it was more than entertaining! Next weekend i will be helping at Mayo's!
I have now lined up my summers work! I will be working at Gap during the day and Culver's in the evenings! I could have maybe worked at Hiawatha homes, but decided it's not what i really wanted to do, to much stress and training, i already know what i'm doing at culver's for the most part!
Well that pretty much rounds things out! I'm off to class now! I will post pictures eventually!

So heres the scoop i was almost done with my whole entire post and then somehow it all disappeard, dang it i hate it when that happens. So I guess i will try and re write everything!

So Below i posted the family pictures from Easter break and a few other special folk! But i'll tell you what i did as well!

So Thursday night right before my Mr. Brice Hemmer picked me up my mom called and invited me to her girls retreat thing she was on her friends (this is a big honor to be invited) They were staying at this amazing place called the "legacy house" a 7000 sq. ft. house it was so much fun we just sat and chatted for hours, with some amazing women!

On Friday mom and i laid out in the glorious sun and it was fabulous it was an amazing and much needed nap! Friday night i hung out with Miss Brianna Hemmer we ate some grilled hot dogs her momma made us and played some rummy too!

On saturday i hung with the fam, helped out around the house, had an interview at Gap, i really hope i get this job i have a phone interview on monday so i hope all goes well!

Sunday was church! Easter service was pretty good, nothing to extravagent though! I enjoyed the family time much more, my mom and dad cooked breakfast and the easter bunny dropped off our baskets! They magically appear when we close our eyes! ;) Then we had a late lunch of Steak, potatos and grilled asparagus ( i love that stuff). Later that evening we went to the Canadian Honker for desert it was really good! I had a big creame puff also tried was bunny's coconut cake!

Monday i did some running, and ate lunch with my sister at panara, got new shoes a pair for me and a pair for briannas wedding they are perfecto! And Prom dress shopping for danae she got two dresses for 70$ each it was pretty amazing so she is saving one for homecoming next year!

School this week has been good it went fast since it was only a 4 day week! I have a car here now so i did a lot of my service learning stuff, which was good to get done! I hope to get much more done this following week especially since we have assesment day this week! (that means no classes!!!)

Then tonight Friday my roommmate val took me to a really cool restaraunt called Chino Latinos it was really neto! we had something with the name fundido in it! it was basically chips and cheese! and we split a buritto as well! and we still couldn't finish it but it was still really good! (we got all dressed up too!)

Well it's off to get packed i'm going straight to wyndom tomorrow after i work 6 hours in admissions!
